Both Homes Press wants this site to be usable by every reader, including readers who use assistive technology.
Our commitment
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. Accessibility is part of how this site is designed and reviewed, not an afterthought.
What we do
- Semantic, structured pages that work with screen readers and keyboard navigation.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images, including book covers.
- A color palette checked for readable contrast (the site's deep-teal and paper tones were chosen with contrast in mind).
- Content written in plain language, with clear headings, so pages are easy to scan and understand.
- Podcast episodes are published with full transcripts as live text on this site.
Conformance status
We consider this site partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 AA: most content conforms, and we are continuing to test and fix remaining issues as the site grows. This statement will be updated as reviews are completed.
Parts outside our control
Some content is delivered by third parties — for example podcast players on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and YouTube, and purchasing on Amazon. We cannot control those platforms' accessibility, but transcripts and book information on this site are provided in accessible text form.
Tell us about a problem
If any part of this site is hard for you to use, please tell us through the contact page (choose “Something else” and mention accessibility). Describe the page and the problem you ran into. We will acknowledge your message within five business days and work on a fix or an accessible alternative.
Review
This statement was prepared in October 2026 and is reviewed whenever the site undergoes a major redesign.
